Do forgive me if things get a little quiet here during this, the very last week of Finley’s Summer holidays, but this little man and his big brother have come to visit and I can barely tear myself away from all the snuggles and sloppy kisses my little nephew Clarry, just a week away from his first birthday, is so eager to bestow…
Though I had quite forgotten how incredibly hard work one year old munchkins are, and spent all of yesterday watching him edge around the furniture in my Mum’s living room with my heart in his mouth in case he walloped his chin on the coffee table, he is such good fun and his comic turns (see Super Baby and kiss blowing above!) are so cute, I could eat him…
Though the poor child must be heartily sick of me sitting in front of him with a camera in his face (and the picture above was at the every end of a five minute photo-fest!) I see him so rarely I can’t quite help but want to capture every little expression, for there is no doubt that he is likely to be the last baby Helen and I have, so every moment seems precious…
Today Mum and I have him to ourselves while Helen works and though we have already worried ourselves silly about how to manage a pushchair we can barely fathom, I don’t think you would blame me if I took the opportunity to lick his little face while his Mummy isn’t around to worry about germs, now would you?
