Navigating the chaos of junk, nonsense and joyous treasure that is Ebay can be a minefield. Which is why in my infinite wisdom, I have decided to  bring you a brand new BrocanteHome feature: the Ebay search term of the day…
Knowing where to start looking for scrumptiousness is one of Ebays’ major challenges. I have no idea how other people go about looking for fabulous finds, but what I do is to start with a description of what I’m looking for (ie: vintage china, blue floral teatowel, vintage cream milkglass, shabby fireguard, etc.) and then choose a category (ie, homes and gardens, collectibles, and antiques will all bring up different things) – which is I think what makes the difference between finding the same old, same old and getting straight into the good stuff without having to route through through mountains of nonsense…
So today my search term is  “Vintage pink”, in category  “Antiques” which  brought to my attention this oh so girly pink tool box (I know I never knew I needed one either!), a gorgeous  Barbie pink japanese teapot , and a very, very cute needlepoint pink lamb…
