Do you remember a few years back when I recommended “LilaBean – a Book About Simplicity for Grown-Up Girls”? Well who knew there were two more books in the series? Oh right, everyone but me?

I do seem to have been living in a bubble for the past few years. (Tis terribly pretty in here though, I think you would like it…)

I got a little giddy when I spotted them. You see the “Bean” books are the most charming of long verses with piercing messages hidden in the simplest of lilting language. I won’t spoil them but if you are a woman of a certain age in want of some sort of clarity on what really matters then do part with the $0.99 they each cost and allow Kate Carpenters message to inspire the kind of action you have long known would really make a difference to your days, won’t you? Their simplicity belies the truth they contain…
