Well yes, after a day spent in the palace of shopping that is the Trafford centre, I have spent too much money and distressed my son with my willingness to get a little frenzied in Selfridges Food Hall. Kristy, it was walking past the blasted bear factory that caused his strop. I only go because I adore Selfridges. And we never, ever go at weekends…

As I am also guilty of spending what I don't have, I've decided to get myself under control by following the "Simple Sparrow" concept of April being "Use What You Have" month.
