Jeffrey T. Larson

Happy Saturday Sweeties. Richard and I are away for the weekend again, so in-between baking a chorizo and spinach delish at the kind of oven that makes me swoon, and taking baths in utterly divine spicy cinnamon foaming oil bath that I brought with me, there really isn’t much time for blogging and yet I couldn’t go have fun without popping  in to say hello and recommend that should you find yourself with a moment or two on your hands, go celebrate the art of modern domesticity through the eye’s of one Jeffrey T. Larson.

Though his style does not fit my own vintage aesthetic, the subject matter of Larson’s paintings stopped me in my tracks and captured  the occasional poetry to be found in the simple task of hanging out the prettiest of vintage floral sheets…

The beauty of the most utilitarian of domestic objects and a celebration of the quiet rituals that define our daily lives…

Have a gorgeous weekend Housekeepers…

I really like the last two the best…. in the last picture, she looks a bit sad… but oddly enough I really like it because it reminds me of times when I've worked out my own frustrations over kneading a loaf of bread or etc.
