In last months Country Living, Alexandra Stoddard urged us to "Frame a picture of yourself, when you were young and adorable to remind you of your identity and promise…".
And so here I am: arms around a little girl I don’t recognise, and eyes shying away from the camera.
I love this little me.
Oh how cute! and how like his Mummy is Finley!
I'm with Gena – now we know where Finley gets his good looks from!
Cute.
Yes, I thought of Finley first thing!!So sweet…and love the little outfit and the cute hairdo.
I have a photo of myself around age 11 or 12, sitting at a picnic table wearing my floppy hat and looking into the camera. Back then, I thought I knew everything! LOL
Cute pic of you, but why does your baby doll have her feet sticking way up in the air like that? LOL!
Terri
You look just like Finley! How PRESH!
Some time ago I did a little collage on a pinboard of baby photos of me. I put pretty cuttings from magazines in amongst them. Every time I look at it it makes me smile. I love my little me too! It almost feels like my little me is the daughter I don't have.
So cute! I've been thinking of making my own baby album…nobody else did!
Who knew she'd become the thoughtful, talented, mum, lady she is today? 🙂
I sometimes have on my cell-phone a picture of my father and me when I was 1 1/2 years old….He's holding me on his arm and I'm looking at the camera…so lovely!I also have a small picture of my parents & me when I was 7….
I love the baby in the baby carraige…. with its little feet sticking up, you seem to be looking at it fondly like…no time for a photo I have a little one to look after!!!!!!!!!
That picture is too sweet, Alison! We should all remember the child we were (and still are)!
I keep one on my desk in my studio…I love looking at it and staring into that young face…
It reminds me of that carefree existance. the hope and promise.
Yours is so adorable, and yes, Finley certainly takes after you in such a big way!
The photo is so adorable! What a wonderful image. It inspires me to find one for myself!
Alison,
You are such a sweetie, both then and now.
