Pretty Goods

It is always such a pleasure to find the owner of a new to me vintage site in my comments box, so I was delighted to follow Deborah Good’s link to her utterly scrumptious vintage and re-worked fabric store at PrettyGoods.Co.Uk
That Brocantehome readers are such a such an incredibly talented lot doesn’t surprise me in the least and I am forever following comment links  to the kind of online sites that gladden this Vintage Housekeepers heart and Pretty Goods is certainly no exception.
From barkcloth peg-bags and tea cosy sets, to scissor cases, pin cushions and needle cases, Debs also has  collection of cushions I would like to fill my red sofa with, and a range of bags any vintage girl would be proud to swing on her arm: all beautifully fashioned from scraps of vintage embroidery and patterned cotton in glad colours.
Go see, and while you are there pop by Deborah’s blog and introduce yourself. It’s always nice to make new friends isn’t it?

Alison, thank you so much for featuring me on your blog. It came as such a nice surprise when I checked my stats and found I'd had so many visitors today.
I love finding vintage fabrics and using them to make something pretty and useful. I am gradually adding to my Pretty Goods shop so pop in regularly to see the new goodies.
I really like your blog, and I have added it to my side bar so that I can check out your new posts as they appear!
