Pride comes before a fall. My so called angel was sent to sit on the naughty step at school yesterday.

When I asked him why Miss Gillard had been forced to undertake such drastic action he said, "She doesn’t understand me."

Lordy. Whats a mommy to say to that? Lets face it, there probably isn’t a man on the planet who hasn’t uttered these words at one point or another…

Perhaps it’s programmed into them at birth.

I have been enjoying your blog for months and months and… on the sly!
I love all your pictures and the way you put words together.
I have been blogging only a short while myself ( here in Ohio, USA)- but I have gone a little mental; feeling the pull of the keyboard!!
I would be tickled pink for you to stop by and visit my corner of the blog world at Abundant Curiosities. I do wish that someday I could spend all my time in a frilly apron and a string of pearls like the 1950's TV housewives!! It would just have to make cleaning the toilet more fun…wouldn't it?!!!! [ Read my post titled ON THE LINE.]
Thanks for being anoymous (until now) friends with me!!

I, too, love the photos. I would love to see some of the inside of your house. It sounds so cozy and interesting. I do NOT like sparse homes with only the bare essentials in them. They always look like homes that people don't really live in. I love homes filled with trinkets and meaningful objects. As a child, I loved visiting my grandparents' old homes, one of which had been handed down from generation to generation. These homes were filled with everything wonderful from stained glass windows to attics with treasures from the past. So, if you feel you could share some photos of your nest with us, I know that many of us would love that.

  17. My "baby" is 14 and I sure would like to borrow that naughty chair sometime. Little boys turn into teenagers and no one understands them, not even Mom. He still has me twisted around his finger though.

  18. Again…where does that boy come up with these things???? LOL
He must be an old soul.
    God bless.

Miss Gillard will probably not be the last one, either! How can anyone be cross with a little man that looks like that??
sigh…even as his Mum you must sometimes have a difficult time with that!
