I waffle on about pink lemonade a lot. Mostly because it’s just so pretty, and the fact that it’s hard to find makes it seem thirst quenchingly luxurious…

There are two ways to make it: the traditional, proper way and the cheats way:

The good old fashioned way of doing it is to mix sugar, lemons and pureed raspberries/strawberries with plenty of soda water, stir until the sugar dissolves, and chill to taste.

The cheats way is to pour cranberry or black grape juice into a tumbler of shop bought lemonade till you reach the desired colour and taste…

And the Brocante way?  Mix either of the above, add two teaspoons of tequilla, a squeeze of lemon juice and some crushed ice and save for the cocktail hour…

You like Tequila? My husband LOVES and collects it! I wonder if I could send you some?

That sound refreshing and yummy. I had a delicious Margarita tonight at the wedding, and then I took a half of one and added it to my diet coke… That was so good.. Is that already a mixed drink by another name? It should be. Yum!

    P.S. We could call it a MARGAR-OLA!!!!

Oooh YUM! I'm going to use this recipe in summer … and I think I'll add some fresh mint leaves. Gotta love a *pretty* drink.
