Oh purlease let it arrive in time for me to share a Sunday morning Brocante breakfast of flaky buttery croissants with a writer I adore… Erm in November, because it seems I have actually pre-ordered this

Snap snap snapity snap! I hope the amazon elves speed their way to us! Have you seen the bitter and nasty review in the Telegraph? Pah! I think it is going to be just scrumptious!
ps will be thinking of you when I settle down with my croissant Sunday morning!
…wow, the colours are simply gorgeous…judging books by covers, terrible, I do it all the time! x
I am completely torqued that it's not published yet in the U.S. (For those of you not sharing geographic space with me, being "torqued" is most definitely *not* good – it's being frustrated, thwarted, wound up with no release in sight…sigh.) I guess I'll have to read the reviews on Amazon UK to sate my longing.
I ordered mine today and then discovered that the Royal Mail will not be delivering until next week and that Amazon won't be delivering the book until…November! Ooof! is all I can say. Hope you get yours tho'. 😉
My, oh my. I read the review in The Telegraph–such vitriol! But I'm delighted to see that so many rushed to defend Jane Brocket and domesticity in general. I just ordered the book–it looks so gorgeous, I couldn't help myself! If it takes three months to arrive, so be it…
I like the book review given by one R. Sinclair on the Amazon site. I'm adding this to my Wish List.
Ali x
Thanks for the recommendation.
