Threads of Feeling is a new exhibition at the Foundling Museum in London, displaying an archive of more that 4000 scraps of fabric torn from the dresses of Mothers giving away their children in the 1700’s, and collated to illustrate the “moment of parting”, a tiny phrase that all by itself is enough to bring tears to your eyes…
