Wrapping Up 2023

One minute we are all complaining that Christmas is arriving in the shops in the middle of august and the next we are in a frenzy because Christmas has turned up all of a sudden and is but days away. I do believe we simply like complaining…

But the time has come for me to wrap up 2023 here at BrocanteHome and take a few days off with my family as I tie bows on the last of my festive gifts, stuff stockings and spend a few days with my two favourite men, my dad and my Finn, visiting family, and eating a vast pan of not very festive at all chilli so that I don’t have to think about cooking as we dash in and out!

So this a thank-you for all your support throughout what has turned out to be one of the emotionally and financially challenging years of my life. You have been wonderful and your continued support means that after all sorts of higgledy-piggeldy shenanigans I am ending the year with the kind of clarity of vision and creative flow I don’t remember having in many a year, as well as a head full of lovely ideas for the twentieth anniversary year of BrocanteHome in 2024.

As always, some of you have been kind enough to ask me top open my Tip-Jar and so here it is: just click the image below and you will be taken to my Ko-Fi tip Jar and can choose how much you would like to offer.

While I am more comfortable offering as much as I can in return for your financial support, in terms of my lovely community and memberships in my annual Christmas Sale, I do understand that some of you simply want to show your appreciation for BrocanteHome and I want you to know how very grateful I am for all that you give, not only financially to keep it online after all these years, despite the challenges of the cost of living (or Cossie Lives, as Finley inexplicably calls it!), but also in terms of the deepening of our friendships across the years.

I cannot say it often enough: It honestly means the word to me. And I hope it still brings you as much joy as it does me.

Have an utterly wonderful, gentle Christmas, find an hour or two plan your BLISS for next year and I will be back next week to round up the lessons learned in 2023 and set out all my plans for 2024.

Love you all so much. Happy Christmas.
