  1. I love your site. I think your blog entries are an inspiration to women who want more than a carreer and more than a house. You celebrate women who want to have a true home that comforts and welcomes them and you give wonderful advice on how to acheive that. But I am having a problem. I purchased the Muse download yesterday (the discount code you sent out didn't work by the way) but I did not get the email you referenced in today's entry. I tried to send an email through the "contact" button but it wouldn't go through. I would appreciate your help with this.
    Thanks!!

    1. Jennifer is it possible your paypal address is different to your usual email? Also the code has been working fine, so I would like to send your discount back to you if possible Hon?

      1. Thank you so much for sending the discount, that was very sweet of you. It is very possible that I made a mistake in paypal…I am technologically challenged…

  3. Oh, Valerie!
It's so validating whenever I find that I am not alone! Herein lies a large part of my affection for blogs and the Internet in general! Upon first discovering the Internet artistic community . . . I remember an overwhelming sense of place. An excitement . . . the recognition that I was not alone in the sort of spirit and soul that is mine! Empowered and keenly aware of the artistic muse rumbling inside, who was attempting to fight her way back through the strings of conformity that I had given way to. . . baby steps . . . I took baby steps. I began to move things from the want list to the will list. I started doing things that I never dreamt that I would do. I started to do the things that I once enjoyed and had shelved. {In part because so few others understood the way my heart/head works, and the teasing, well intentioned as it may have been.} So I have loosed the bonds that held my inner muse. I I have just jumped in feet first, as I never have before. The result is that those who have always known me, comment on my pursuits, seem kind of proud of them, maybe some even a little bit envious . . . I am pursuing, of all things, silversmithing! I am teaching! I am creating! And I am selling my work! I'm almost afraid to say it . . . I think I might be living my dream! I'm praying for you, that yours will come true!
