A Right Royal Mess!
Never before have I been in such chaos. Send the TV cameras around this week and you will see my true colours…
So we decided to move Finley into a big boy bed. Give him the chest out of our room. At Marks insistence, order new more sensible (read dull) wardrobes and a new more sensible (read hideous) computer desk. Change the bedside tables. Sort out the damp caused by the leaking gutter. Re-lay the kitchen floor. Install a new sink. Paint the dining room table. Declutter. And re-invent our entire lives in the space of one week. (Never say I’m not ambitious!)
The mood doesn’t take Mark very often but when it does I have to make the most of it and work him into the ground DIYing, so please forgive me if I disappear from your screens for a day or two, while I crack the whip and hoover the floor…
I have spent so much time online recently, I failed to notice the house was falling down. Hey ho.
Oh, my! You have a big task in store! I don't envy you the work, but the results will be wonderful! No doubt there will be NO dull furniture in your home after you finish "foo foo" ing it!
Have fun.
This is one of our favorite times of year to throw ourselves (and lives) into a tailspin of remodeling chaos. It helps to keep your "eye on the prize" when feeling faint at heart. And it will all be worth it if you don't kill yourselves in the process! (wink)
wow, good luck!!! i'm sure all will turn out fine and spectacular! brilliant!
