    2. I totally ‘get’ the carpet lady. When hubby and I were house hunting 7 years ago I refused to consider any house with wall to wall carpet. I hate carpet. I LOATHE it with the fiery passion of a thousand flaming suns. I accepted an otherwise-perfect house with two bedrooms done in carpet on the condition of replacing it. Carpet is The Devil.
