FIRST MOTIF.—Make 16 ch. and s.s. to join into ring. 1st round.—4 ch., 2 d.tr. into ring, leaving last Ip. of each d.tr. on hook, ctn. over hook and draw through all Ips. on hook, * 5 ch., 3 d.tr, into ring, leaving last Ip. of each d.tr. on hook, ctn. over hook and draw through all Ips. on hook— referred to as "d.tr.cl."; rep. from * 10 times, 2 ch., 1 tr. into top of first cl. 2nd round.—1 d.c. into 2 ch. and 1 tr. Ip., 4 ch., 1 d.c. in next Ip., * 15 ch., 1 d.c. in next Ip., (4 ch., 1 d.c. in next Ip.) twice; rep. from *

Make 6 rows of 8 motifs, joining sides to adjacent motifs as second was joined to first. Dampen and pin out to shape then press well….
