Hi there Alison. I am six years into my lovely life as a singleton after 25 plus years of marriage, half of them very unhappy.
I like men and still have a passable relationship with my ex. I learned he will always be his daughter's dad.
However, have a GOOD purge of the selfish ones things and move furniture etc. into new settings if you can't replace any sentimental items. Fresh broom has been my motto.
Children are very inspiring and spur you on to rebuild. I had very good support especially my lovely dad. You will make a new way for you and baby, not the same, but different.
Try not to think too far ahead, all my mysteries have unfolded in their own good time.
    Thinking of you.
