Here you are Sweeties, another little collection of scrumptiously domestic family scenes from a Beacon Reader I was thrilled to happen across, buried deep in the grass at a car boot sale on Sunday. Don’t you just love Mother’s elegant hair-do?
Unfortuately the cover of this 1922 edition seems to have been munched by a hungry mouse, but ho hum, these are the perils of treasure hunting and the gorgeous images inside are all intact and utterly lovely.
