I can’t stop looking at it. Is it me or is it really beautiful?

Over a hundred years (it’s dated between 1850 and 1870)  of history wrapped up in pale  pink satin.

    I find things like this fascinating as well. I always wonder about the owner, what she did, her personality…was ithanded down to a daughter when she set up her own home? As my mother is a dressmaker herself, my fingers are now itching to place a bid!
