Housekeepers Carousel

Hello Darlings, how the heck are you all on this Sunny Spring Friday night? You know I’m really not sure where the week went: one minute it was Mothers Day and the next it is the weekend all over again, and there is not a proverbial child in the house washed yet…
But never mind, because I am all alone tonight, with just a chicken pesto pizza, a bag of Ruffles,  a Royal Wedding themed copy of Vogue and the whole world in my laptop for company and that’s just fine with me: I had so much to share this week but unfortunately after a wordpress crisis of the kind that left BrocanteHome looking rather bonkers for the majority of the week and all the nasty little coding troubles that brought to my door, I spent so much time fire-fighting before my little virtual house burnt to the ground that there really is no choice now but to stuff all this goodness into one gorgeous Carousel and hope you’ll hop on board and take a spin with me!
* First up tonight the little flower picking darling above. Painted by Ferdinand Hodler, I chose her, not just because she made me smile, but because she is sporting quite the most fabulous unibrow… one reminiscent I think of the one I would have were it not for my fervent addiction to the glorious sting of facial waxing…
* Next a thank you to everybody who has bought my Blogging Planner this week and a welcome to all my new readers over at Blogging For Girls. Though I have had some teething problems putting the site together this week, I’m almost rolling and have thoroughly enjoyed writing the first two posts, Ten Things I Know About Blogging and Get Organized On the Internet this week, so I truly hope that in the future it will become a valuable resource for all the wonderful women blogging on-line…Now, Cath Kidston for UniQlo. Cath is collaberating with Uniqlo for a charity project called the Japanese Organization for International Cooperation in Family Planning, and though I am a little late to the party on this one and many of the loveliest designs are now sold out, there are still a few left and they are currently going for a song at £19.99 for two, so if you are Kidson freak like me you should probably get your skates on…
 

* Next up, bed and breakfast lust. If I don’t get to spend one night in this lifetime in Rachel Ashwell’s Prairie Bed and Breakfast, I swear I will die an unfulfilled woman. Go see more gorgeous pic’s on Rachel’s blog and keep your fingers crossed that the universe will smile down on me and arrange to throw me a honeymoon in her shabby little heaven…

* And just for your pleasure: a little more house lust. Go sneak around the gorgeous country houses to be explored at  JJ Locations and imagine yourself as Lady of a truly desirable manor…
