  3. I feel it, too. I love August because it is my birthday month but already the angle of light is changing and I know autumn is on its way. This usually makes me wistful, if not downright sad. I am a spring/summer girl through and through. And yet for some reason I find myself almost eager for autumn this year. Perhaps because it’s my favorite season for home-keeping and since we are at home all the time now, I’m looking forward to cosy-ing things up.

  5. Autumn is one of my favourite seasons, the other being Spring, The sound of crisp leaves when out for a walk, turning the fairy lights on in the kitchen and the joy of burning candles just bliss.
