Yesterdays kids were probably just the little monsters that ours are today. You only have to stumble across an old school photograph to see all the same grumpy little babba’s lined up, silently fuming because they’ve been told to fold their arms.

Click on the pictures to get a closer look at the little horrors and you will be able to see a  vintage minature take on the class clown, the little Madam, the future jailbird, and the prissiest kid in the class…

You will also of course see a range of really rather fabulous hats in the top picture (Get her! Fourth in on the right-hand side!!), a child holding a cute little doll in the picture below, relative poverty in all their eyes and a little girl pulling the kind of "I’m having none of this" face Finley pulls whenever I try to get a good photo of him, on the left hand side of the top row of the first picture…

Kids eh! Who’d have ’em?…

I love the face on the little boy on the second picture (top row, left hand side nextdoor but one to the man with the magnificent 'tache! That is special!
Oh and I can quite see why you covet that lovely floral bunting! I've made some for my outhouse window… it's gonna look lovely! Would it be bad to make some to go indoors too…..?

I've seen my nana and schoolfriends in lots of photos like this and there's never a smile between them….makes them all the more entertaining though, I think. They all look so stubborn!
