  1. I am the infamous stuffer of items in my bedside table. I shove everything in there… I just swoop those nasty little items like hair pins into my drawers and then rather than go and search for them, I purchase new ones.
    Sigh. I am terrible.

  3. I was enthralled by that sight. At first I thought it may be the work of a conceptual artist, but how wrong I was. A fascinating look at the human psyche and all its fears. Very Twin Peaks, Alison! Thank you for something rather illuminating.

I sometimes put things back in the washing basket because I can't be bothered ironing them or I'm not sure whether or not I want to keep them… There are things at the bottom of my washing basket that I must confess have been there for… ahem… years?? Mr Washalot is starting to notice and I fear my secret is out…

  6. I hate ironing and tend to leave things until my husband complains that he hasn't seen a certain item in weeks (because they're in the ironing pile).
    I do a lot of "straightening" and while I love cleaning products, cleaning sites and cleaning books, I truly hate the act of cleaning.

  8. I'm with Helen. Clothing that has been lingering at the bottom of the ironing basket, since we moved into this house in January. I also sneak in the occasional teaspoon of Milo. Just love it raw and used to eat it hidden under my bed as a child.
