It looks right up your street! Will you ever return to Lancashire again?

    1. Alison May says:

I would move here tomorrow… living by the sea would be utter bliss.x

      1. Jo Kneale says:

Right by the sea… rather than Formby or Southport where there’s a mile hike just to see the water! I know what you mean, but wouldn’t it be a bit like drinking prosecco with every meal? You’d get used to it and stop appreciating it, so that when visitors come and swoon over the sound and the smell, you’d just look at them weird!

  4. Lovely photos! I used to visit Whitstable years ago when my best mate was going out with David Brown who owns the deli on Harbour street. He’s still there, baking all the bread and making beautiful lemon tarts. Deli Dave we used to call him. Have a lovely holiday Alison.

    1. Alison May says:

Hi Bernadette, we saw Deli Dave yesterday!x

      1. Brilliant! Hope the sun’s shining for you! x

  8. Dawn Gilmore says:

Oh! I would love looking through all those shops. Of course I would have to get an ice cream from the pink ice cream truck. I just love the full-skirted frocks in the store window!

    1. Jo Kneale says:

Which one would you pick, Dawn? I have dibs on the red polks dot with the blue bag!

  9. Audrey says:

What a lovely place for a holiday, Alison! I hope your time there heals your weary soul.
Is there a website for the shop with the ADORABLE dresses? I would SO look like a vintage housewife in one of those beauties! 😉
