      1. Right by the sea… rather than Formby or Southport where there’s a mile hike just to see the water! I know what you mean, but wouldn’t it be a bit like drinking prosecco with every meal? You’d get used to it and stop appreciating it, so that when visitors come and swoon over the sound and the smell, you’d just look at them weird!

  1. Lovely photos! I used to visit Whitstable years ago when my best mate was going out with David Brown who owns the deli on Harbour street. He’s still there, baking all the bread and making beautiful lemon tarts. Deli Dave we used to call him. Have a lovely holiday Alison.
