White Sage & Ruda Smudging Stick

Hand-bound from white sage and ruda, this little bundle belongs to the older language of the home: smoke curling through neglected corners, windows opened, yesterday gently ushered out. White sage brings its distinctive earthy, herbaceous scent, while ruda, also known as rue, has long been associated with protection, purification and the turning away of unwanted energy.

Light the tip, allow it to catch briefly, then gently blow out the flame. Rest the smouldering bundle in a heatproof dish and guide the fragrant smoke through the room, lingering wherever the atmosphere feels a little heavy. Use it before meditation or prayer, at the threshold of a new season, after upheaval, or simply when the house seems to be asking for a fresh start.

Each 10cm bundle is naturally grown, carefully dried and tied by hand. Variations in colour, shape and fullness are part of its wild, botanical character.

Never leave a smouldering bundle unattended. Ventilate the room, keep away from children and animals, and extinguish completely after use.
