  1. oh my! No wonder you ran off to bathe after getting soil down your pants lol. Poor thing, and I can’t imagine you 300 stone heavier either but as you said it was a time in your life for change, to be healthier and to feel better about yourself. I’m a pisces btw 🙂

  2. What a difference a post makes. You’re a woman of purpose and direction! I’m rooting for you, you poetry in the making, you!
And little boys spreading about Obsession…well, where would we be without them! I’d have loved to have seen your face. ;>

  3. Well! Jonathon Cainer is my favourite astrologer,he is spookily accurate! so much so that I had my personal horoscope drawn up,which is spot on! so do not doubt him Alison,if JC says change is afoot then it is! and I cant wait to hear all about it!(but Oh! the perfume in the garden, yikes!)

  4. Gosh Alison, what a fantastic post! Go for it, muddy knickers or not. May the journey be as glorious as the destination. x

  5. Alison, you know we’re all wondering about the job you were considering applying for – seems you’ve listened to your heart and are following the writing path? I’m sure you’ll tell us all, in good time! Best of luck! (I think a lot of people are going through major life changes at the moment. Must be something in the air…)

  6. Scented flowers have a whole new meaning in your garden! I am an Aries and I will come and boogie in a positive cosmic light with you or just boogie anyway.

  7. Yep, like Joanne I’m dying to know what you decided about the job – and the writing of your eagerly awaited book…..
I too did some weeding in my fromnt garden today, as my daughter played happily with her friends….until she very discreetly said “Pull your trousers up at the back Mum”. “Bless you”, I say, “am I showing my knickers?”. She looked at me with pity and replied “No Mum, my friends can all see your bum”. Oh dear. If only I had Finley here to cover my shame with a smattering of mud and perfume!
Your life is certainly never dull young lady. Fabulous.

  8. And here I’ve just resolved to try one unfamiliar pleasure each day this Summer. That’s definitely not a definite plan =) But I think you’re right, it IS time for your plan. Having a path to follow can be very inspiring. And what is out of your control is in God’s control so there’s no sense fretting about Fin’s School (says the mom whose boy was just expelled). Ok, I’m just barely not falling apart but I know that God’s promised peace so I’m holding onto that. Jeremiah 29:11- I know the plans that I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for peace and a future…” Blessings… Polly

  9. Oh my, I was reading the horoscope at the top of your post, and it was nagging and niggling my brain as something I have read before, somewhere….of course! I am an Aries too! And I suspect we read the same papers this weekend! And your closer examination of them makes me see a few things in my own life in a whole new light…..thank you sweetie!

  10. ….I’m a saggie, if we ever get round to meeting I just know we’d get on great! All the best for the next 7 years, you’re absolutley spot on about that cycle of events. x
