I had to catch my breath twice yesterday – once when I read your post and later when I went to the Mall and saw that Tracey Chevalier has a new book 'Burning Bright'. Not sure if you've read her other books. 'Girl with a Pearl Earring' and 'The Lady and the Unicorn' are my favourites.
Okay…. but didn't anyone find the book Chocolat to be way different from the movie… I usually love the book more, but not so with this one. Perhaps it was just timing with me, but I wasn't at all mesmerized like tht wonderful music and that fabulous Juliette Binoche…. That movie had me at "hello." as they say….
However, this won't stop me from racing to Amazon to order my copy IMMEDIATELY!!!! Hugs… thanks for always finding the goodies!

Huh! Thanks for the info. I had no idea–especially since I just saw another new book by Joanne Harris (which I will also want to read). I love Chocolat (the book and the movie), so I'll definitely be up for this!
