Love this book! It's right up there with "Mrs. Beaton's Book of Household Management" written umpteen years ago….and SHE was serious!
I found this book many years ago and always pick it up when I want some amusement. Best bits for me are "Simple rules for simple servants" and "Miss Thistldown would like a little something to eat in the train". Illustrations are wonderful too !
