  1. I’ve just discovered BrocanteHome (where have I been for the last 8+ years?!) and I’ve started with the Sanctuary posts. I jumped straight to the last page so that I can read every post in order. This post, about the Present Box, has me giddy enough to cry. What a beautiful idea! I do not own such a box, nor can I afford to purchase one this year, but I’m certain that I can find another avenue for this beautiful tradition. Perhaps a half-used closet that I can scent and make lovely? Or a couple of bins under my bed? I’m still uncertain, but I am determined to find a way. Oh, and the thought of beginning in early autumn next year is so pleasant! Thank you for your lovely ponderings and ideas. I’m a new and very excited fan!

    1. Oh Stephanie what a lovely comment and welcome to BrocanteHome! A box isn’t necessary… any piece of furniture will do… or even a cardboard box made beautiful? I will look forward to getting to know you.x
